Why this course
The paediatric cardiac ICU admits all types of cardiology and cardiac surgical cases. The unit has 6 specially designed critical beds and multi-para monitors. During the course students will be able to attain paediatric cardiac surgical skills and also to acquire more nursing experience in postoperative care in relation to the different conditions of congenital heart diseases. This program aims in developing skills in this high specialized field of Paediatric Cardiac Surgery. They will spend their time exculsively in Paediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery ICU.
