Why this course
The American Heart Association designed the BLS Course to prepare a wide variety of people who, as first responders, May need to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR) in the workplace or similiar settings May need to use an automated external defibrillator(AED) May need to help someone who is choking Heart attack,drowning,electric shock, and other problems may cause a victim's heart to stop pumping blood.this is called cardiac arrest. Studies show that effective CPR right away improves survival from cardiac arrest.

Key changes in basic life support, reflecting the new science from the 2010 American Heart Association Guidelines for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiovascular Care Critical concepts of high-quality CPR The American Heart Association Chain of Survival 1-Rescuer CPR and AED for adult, child and infant 2-Rescuer CPR and AED for adult, child and infant Differences between adult, child and infant rescue techniques Bag-mask techniques for adult, child and infant Rescue breathing for adult, child and infant Relief of choking for adult, child and infant CPR with an advanced airway*
How do you apply
One month prior application, in Academy office in any working day. Registration form has to be filled and along with certificate(course completion/ Course registration) and one passport size photograph. Fee has to be remitted at the time of registration and can collect manual.

How long will you be here
Initial Provider Course requires approximately 8 hours to complete, including skills practice and skills testing. Renewal Course requires approximately 4 hours, including skills practice and skills testing. *course time based on 1 instructor: 6 students: 2 manikins

Who Certifies
Upon successful course completion, including demonstration of skills competency in all learning stations and passing the BLS, students receive an American Heart Association BLS course completion card(Provider Card), valid for two years.
