MIMS Research Foundation
Introduction
MIMS RF is a subsidiary of MIMS Academy Trust. The Trust was formed to coordinate and stimulate academic activities of MIMS Ltd. The Trustees have recognized the importance of Medical Research and is actively supporting research ventures. The Trustees of Academy Trust are the Trustees for the Foundation.
Objectives of the Foundation
1. To facilitate all research activities in MIMS Hospital and support all efforts with financial and other help.
2. To stimulate research activities among staff of the hospital including Post-Graduate students.
3. To conduct research activities in identified thrust areas.
4. To enter into collaboration with other research organizations in conducting clinical trials subject to directives from ICMR, Government and other statutory authorities.
5. To facilitate research into development of new products with medicinal properties either on its own or in collaboration with like minded institutions.
6. To construct and maintain research laboratories in or around the Academy Property including animal lab.
7. To enter into financial agreement with fund giving organizations and or companies including pharmaceutical companies and venture funds.
8. To enter into contractual agreement in the field of Patent Rights and Royalty Sharing.
Accreditations
MIMS RF has been recognized as a Scientific and Industrial Research Organization by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Government of India.
